Rwandan entertainment enthusiasts are in for a treat as Amapiano sensation Kamo Mphela takes center stage alongside homegrown talents RY, deejays Toxxyk, June, Kevin Klein, and Tyga. The highly anticipated event is scheduled for December 9th at Mundi Center, Rwandex.

Organized by the Maker Movement, a burgeoning entertainment force operating under Intore Entertainment for nearly a year, this event marks the movement’s inaugural show as an independent entity. The Maker Movement has gained prominence for its commitment to delivering diverse and captivating entertainment experiences.

In an exclusive interview with The New Times, Gedeon Gasana, Chief Executive Officer of the Maker Movement, expressed his excitement about the upcoming show, emphasizing the long-awaited inclusion of music and dance in Rwandan entertainment.

Gasana highlighted the significance of featuring Amapiano, a genre gaining popularity in Rwanda, and the presence of Kamo Mphela, a South African artist with a considerable following in the Amapiano scene. He believes that this event is poised to provide revelers with an unforgettable experience, offering a blend of international and local musical talents.

The CEO pointed out Kamo Mphela’s widespread acclaim, citing her collaborations with international artists like TI and contributions to major films, including the blockbuster hit “Black Panther.”
