DJ Puffy’s Kigali Performance Has Been Postponed

Intore Entertainment has announced the cancellation of the highly anticipated Kigali performance by Barbadian disc jockey DJ Puffy, originally scheduled for May 12.

DJ Puffy, who won the Red Bull Music 3Style World DJ Championships in 2016, was set to headline this week’s Intore Sundays, one of Kigali’s most popular outdoor music events.

The cancellation was attributed to “unforeseen circumstances and factors beyond our control,” according to a statement from Intore Entertainment. The organizers expressed their regret over the event’s postponement and apologized for any inconvenience caused to fans. They assured that new dates would be announced shortly and thanked everyone for their understanding and patience.

DJ Puffy, born Andre Parris, is renowned for his exceptional turntablism and creation of a unique Caribbean-EDM sound that has won him international acclaim and a large following.

Intore Sundays has become a staple in Rwanda’s entertainment scene, particularly among the middle class and expatriate community in Kigali. The event not only provides entertainment but also serves as a networking platform, attracting hundreds of young people. It has featured performances by notable Amapiano DJs such as Uncle Waffles, Soul Nativez, Pcee, and Justin99.
