Rwanda’s gospel sensation Israel Mbonyi is continuing his busy year with upcoming performances in Tanzania, marking the next stop in his East African tour. Following his successful concerts in Kenya and Uganda, which drew tens of thousands of worshippers, Mbonyi is now set to perform in Dar es Salaam.
The artist will hold two major concerts in Tanzania’s largest city, with the first scheduled for November 2 at Mlimani City, followed by a second show at the Leaders Club on November 3. The events, organized by Wakati wa Mungu society, a prominent gospel event promoter in Tanzania, will also feature performances by local gospel artists, including Rehema Simfukwe, Halisi Ministry, and Joel Lwanga.
Mbonyi’s ability to sing in multiple languages, particularly Kiswahili, has helped him expand his reach across East Africa. His recent shows in Kenya and Uganda received overwhelming support, including attendance from government officials and celebrities. In addition to his East African performances, Mbonyi has held international concerts, including a highly successful show in Belgium, where ticket demand exceeded expectations.
Tickets for Mbonyi’s Tanzania concert at Leaders Club are priced at 20,000 Tsh (Rwf 10,000) for general admission and 50,000 Tsh (Rwf 24,000) for VIP.
Following his Tanzania performances, Mbonyi is expected to continue his tour across Africa, with South Africa among the planned destinations.
