Marcus Rashford trained with Manchester United on Wednesday as the team prepared for their UEFA Europa League match against Rangers at Old Trafford on Thursday.
The England forward has not featured for the Red Devils since being benched in December amid speculation about a potential transfer. Last year, Rashford hinted at a possible departure, stating in a social media post that he was “ready for a new challenge,” though no move has materialized.
Brazilian winger Antony also participated in the session, despite ongoing rumors linking him with a loan move to Spanish club Real Betis.
However, United will be without key players Mason Mount and Luke Shaw, who were absent from training at Carrington due to ongoing injury struggles. Both have endured challenging seasons with fitness issues, leaving them unavailable for Thursday’s match.
The game is critical for both teams as they vie for a spot in the Europa League knockout stages. Rangers trail United by just one point in the group standings.
