Marley Brothers Launch First Tour in Two Decades to Honor Father’s Legacy

The five sons of music legend Bob Marley are on a tour across the U.S. and Canada, celebrating their father’s enduring impact.

The tour features approximately 30 of Bob Marley’s classic songs, including hits like “No Woman, No Cry,” “Could You Be Loved,” “Is This Love,” and “Three Little Birds.” This 22-date tour will wrap up in early October in Miami.

Stephen Marley, who curated the setlist, emphasized the importance of honoring their father and coming together as brothers.

“It’s about honoring him and connecting as brothers,” Stephen said. “We have our own careers and lives, but when we get the chance to perform together, I cherish it.”

Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani, and Damian Marley each bring their own reggae styles to the stage while blending their musical talents.

The brothers have performed together since childhood, including a show at Red Rocks in Colorado last year.

“His message transcends barriers,” Julian Marley said. “No matter where you go, people need the same message. That’s why it’s everlasting. That’s why we’re here on this mission.”

Bob Marley’s legacy continues to thrive through various projects, including an immersive exhibit in New York and the biopic “Bob Marley: One Love,” which debuted at No. 1 at the box office in February.

In addition to the tour, the Marley brothers are working on a new album together, aiming to carry forward their father’s message of positivity. Stephen noted that while it will take time, they aspire to complete it “in the near future.”

“For me, that message is so necessary now,” he said. “Our father was a powerful voice for that message, and that’s why we’re here.”
