Mohamed Salah Set for Record-Breaking Offer from Saudi Arabia

Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah is reportedly being offered a deal worth nearly $80 million to leave Liverpool and join Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, a move that, if confirmed, would break the world record set by Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 32-year-old Salah is in the final year of his contract with Liverpool and has yet to agree to a new deal. His current salary at Liverpool is significantly lower than the offer from Al-Hilal, which is said to be nearly double his current wages, making the move a tempting prospect.

Salah, one of the Premier League’s most prolific forwards, is said to be in serious negotiations with Al-Hilal. The Saudi club is reportedly looking to bolster its squad after Brazil’s Neymar is expected to leave in the summer, freeing up space for an additional foreign player.

Reports indicate that Al-Hilal is also in talks with Liverpool to buy out the remaining six months of Salah’s contract, potentially facilitating the transfer during the ongoing winter transfer window.

Salah’s potential move to Saudi Arabia would further solidify the Gulf nation’s growing influence in global football, following high-profile moves by stars like Ronaldo to Saudi clubs.
