Petit Stade will host the Liberation Day volleyball tournament for the first time in two years on July 26-28. The indoor facility, which has been undergoing renovations since 2022, now features upgraded seating, a heightened roof, and improved playing surfaces. It can now accommodate up to 1,000 spectators.
The tournament will include 12 teams – six men’s and six women’s teams. Men’s teams competing for the trophy include Gisagara, Police, Kepler, APR, Rwanda Energy Group (REG), and Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC). In the women’s category, APR, Ruhango, IPRC-Kigali, RRA, Police, and Kepler will vie for the title.
Defending champions APR (men) and Police (women) are aiming to retain the titles they secured in 2023.
