Rwanda has been selected to host the 2025 Aviation Africa Summit and Exhibition, marking the fifth time it will take on this role. The announcement was made on September 16, 2024, during the ongoing Aviation Africa Summit in Gauteng, South Africa. Rwanda’s delegation at the event included State Minister in the Ministry of Infrastructure, Olivier Kabera.
The Aviation Africa Summit is a key event in the airline and air transport industry, bringing together top executives and officials to discuss the sector’s future. The summit focuses on growth, development, and the various challenges facing Africa’s aviation industry.
For the 2025 summit, Times Aerospace Events and the Union des Gestionnaires d’Aéroports d’Afrique Centrale et de l’Ouest (UGAACO) will co-organize the event, with Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA) and Rwanda Airports Company (RAC) serving as co-hosts.
