Rwandan actress Isimbi Alliance, popularly known as Alliah Cool, is set to make waves as her latest role in the Nigerian film The Waiter brings her talent to the big screen in Kigali. The film, directed by Nigerian comedy legend Richard Ayodeji Makun (AY), will premiere at Canal Olympia in Kigali on January 19, 2025.
The Waiter marks a significant milestone for Alliah Cool, who stars alongside some of Nigeria’s most renowned actors. Starting January 17, 2025, it will screen across French-speaking African countries, including Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, DR Congo, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Senegal, and Togo, before its highly anticipated debut in Rwanda.
The Waiter boasts an impressive ensemble cast, with AY himself playing the role of Akpos, Regina Daniels as Idara, Shaffy Bello as Mrs. Okono Edet, and Deyemi Okanlawon as Femi Ayina.
