All five members of the Spice Girls recently reunited, surprising fans as they gathered to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday in London.
Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, and Melanie Chisholm, known as Posh, Scary, Baby, Ginger, and Sporty Spice, respectively, came together to commemorate the occasion. They even performed their iconic song “Stop” at the party, reminiscent of their heyday in the late 1990s.
David Beckham, Victoria’s husband and former England captain, shared the joyous moment on Instagram, capturing himself singing along with the group. Victoria expressed her gratitude in the comments, calling it the “best night ever” and reminiscing about their Spice Girls days with the hashtag #SpiceUpYourLife.
Celebrity guests such as Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Gordon Ramsay attended the party at Oswald’s private members club in Mayfair.
Prior to the celebration, Victoria shared family photos on Instagram, including shots of her, David, and their four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – all dressed elegantly for the occasion.
Although Victoria has been seen using crutches recently, she didn’t need them for the festivities. The Spice Girls didn’t use microphones during their performance, but they enthusiastically sang along while recreating their classic dance routine.
Fans, overjoyed by the reunion, flooded social media with excitement and pleas for the band to go on tour again. Bookmaker Coral even slashed the odds on an official Spice Girls reunion in 2024 and predicted a Glastonbury performance and a new album in 2025 following the birthday bash.
The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and rose to fame with hits like “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life,” embodying the “Girl Power” movement. Despite their initial split in 2001, they reunited for tours in 2007 and 2019 (without Victoria) and performed at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.
