Yvonne Kabarokore, a prominent Rwandan model and beauty queen, is gearing up to represent her nation at the upcoming fourth edition of the Miss Planet International Pageant in Cambodia. The event, scheduled for later this year, promises to showcase the beauty and talents of contestants from around the globe.
Kabarokore, currently pursuing a degree in Theater Directing at the New International Performing Arts Institute in Berlin, Germany, shared her excitement about the opportunity. She disclosed that the casting team approached her in 2023, and she gladly accepted the honor of representing Rwanda on the international stage.
“Yes, it is true. I’m the one selected to represent Rwanda at this year’s Miss Planet International, and it means a lot to get such a platform and showcase the beauty of our culture. The goal is to bring the crown home,” she expressed.
The competition, set to unfold in Cambodia, boasts a grand prize of $25,000 for the crowned winner. Miss Planet International holds a noble mission, aiming to create positive role models and empower young women to dream big, inspiring others to reach for lofty goals.
